About Us

Catherine Stott completed her master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Wisconsin – Stout. She has over 31 years of experience in providing vocational rehabilitation, counseling, and vocational assessment services to individuals in worker’s compensation, welfare-to-work, Department of Veterans Affairs, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Family and Children Services, employers (pre-employment testing), and for at-risk youth and refugees. Catherine possesses expertise in providing vocational / career planning and testing, situational assessments, one-on-one career counseling, career transition, transferable skills analyses, labor market research, test and ergonomic device modifications, employment readiness training, and education / training to rehabilitation counselors and vocational evaluators. She has presented at local and state conferences on subjects involving labor market surveys and job placement.

Catherine is a Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE). This certification is nationally recognized and can only be achieved after passing a written examination, possessing several years of work experience in the field, as well possessing as a college degree with required coursework in standardized testing / career guidance and counseling. She holds the certification of Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE), which includes a peer review and a stringent application process. Catherine has also been awarded the International Psychometric Evaluation Certification (IPEC). This certification involves many years of work experience in the field of vocational evaluation / assessment, specific college coursework in career counseling, career transition, and standardized / psychometric testing, a minimum of a Master’s Degree, and a peer review of work product and maintenance of continuing educational units in order to remain certified.
